North Schuylkill School District maintains official channels on Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to share news, celebrate achievements, and provide timely updates. Our mission is the education and well-being of our students, and we welcome courteous, on-topic participation.

District-owned accounts may operate as a designated public forum. Comments are welcome and moderated under viewpoint-neutral rules. We may remove comments that:

Are profane, obscene, or harmful to minors
Contain threats or personal attacks
Promote or incite illegal activity or violence
Advertise or endorse commercial products or services
Disclose confidential information
Contain false or libelous statements
Include hate speech toward protected classes
Are spam or repetitive postings

Posts are not removed simply because they criticize the District or express an unpopular viewpoint. Users are not blocked except for security/system threats or spam.

Student images from school activities may be posted unless a parent/guardian has opted out of directory information. Other personally identifiable student information will not be posted without consent. Staff may request that their image not be posted.

For personal issues or student-specific concerns, please use regular communication channels — contact the school or District directly — rather than posting in social media comments.

Unlawful use of copyrighted or trademarked material is prohibited; all content follows fair-use and applicable laws. We do not tag or link to commercial accounts for compensation, and we do not tag individual student accounts. We may link to PTO/booster groups after review by District communications staff.

Employees should maintain professional boundaries online and use District platforms to communicate with students. Personal speech may be addressed if it materially affects District operations. Students are expected to follow District policies on conduct, expression, and anti-bullying. The District provides education on appropriate online behavior and cyberbullying awareness.
