Nora Lorady — Assistant Elementary Principal

I graduated from Northampton Area School District, and went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and teaching certificate in Social Studies Education. I earned my Masters degree from Lehigh University in Teaching, Learning, and Technology. I then completed my Administration Certificate at King’s College.

I am honored to join the North Schuylkill School District as the elementary assistant principal. Prior to this position, I was a Social Studies Teacher at Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I was the head softball coach at Freedom for six seasons. I also had the privilege of serving as an Academic Athletic Coach, supporting our student athletes socially, emotionally, and academically.

I firmly believe that every student has the ability to learn, grow, and achieve success in a supportive and engaging environment. I am committed to leading by example, building strong partnerships with families and staff, and believe in a positive school culture where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, gardening, and love ALL sports (my favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers). Most of all, I love spending time with my family and our two boys, Jax and Gino.

I am so grateful to serve this wonderful school district!
